Role Overview

We’re looking for an Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize our stock levels, ensure timely stock movement, and support our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a knack for data, organization, and efficiency, ensuring that we have the right products at the right time. This role is critical for ensuring smooth order fulfillment and supporting the operational backbone of Hyppy’s fast-growing e-commerce business.


Key Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Stock Management

  • Maintain optimal stock levels, track stock movement, and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly audits of physical and system inventory to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Monitor and track slow-moving and fast-moving SKUs, working with the team to make strategic decisions on reordering or liquidating.

Warehouse Coordination

  • Oversee stock receipt, storage, and dispatch processes to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with the Operations Head to ensure warehouse processes run smoothly, especially during peak seasons like Diwali.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of products.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Analyze stock reports and sales data to predict inventory needs and prevent stockouts.
  • Use tools like Coefficient of Variation (CV) and other analytics to classify products as fast, slow, or erratic movers.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for management review.

Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and finished products.
  • Track inbound shipments, follow up on delivery timelines, and ensure proper documentation.

Operational Improvements

  • Identify inefficiencies in the inventory process and implement cost-effective improvements.
  • Work on demand planning for large events (e.g., Lil Flea pop-ups) and seasonal spikes like Diwali sales.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring proper stock availability.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.

2-4 years of experience in inventory or supply chain management (preferably in e-commerce or retail).

Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, stock audits, and warehouse processes.

Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (experience with weighted mean, CV analysis, and forecasting is a plus).

Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with tight deadlines.
