Cyber Security Engineer RoleThis is a challenging position that requires an experienced professional to lead the development and implementation of intelligent security solutions using SIEM, SOAR, and machine learning technologies.The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in log analysis, real-time event monitoring, correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and use cases. They should also be able to design, implement, and manage enterprise SIEM solutions for centralized log analysis and real-time event monitoring.Additional responsibilities include:Developing and fine-tuning correlation rules, alerts, dashboards, and use cases to detect anomalous and malicious activity;Leading data ingestion and normalization from varied enterprise systems (e.g., cloud workloads, endpoints, network devices);Developing and maintaining SOAR playbooks to automate incident detection, triage, response, and recovery;Optimizing SOAR workflows and integrations with security infrastructure to reduce Mean Time To Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time To Respond (MTTR);Buidling and applying machine learning models to identify security anomalies, enrich event context, and predict threats;Collaborating with Security Operations Center (SOC), DevOps, IT, and business units to align security automation with business goals;Analyzing incident data to uncover trends and provide recommendations for improving controls and detection;Maintaining detailed documentation for playbooks, integrations, automation processes, and incident response protocols;Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging tools to continually advance detection and automation strategies;Mentoring junior engineers and assisting in promoting SOAR and SIEM best practices across the team.
