Expert in Plumbing and Fire ProtectionThe ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality project outcomes by fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Conduct thorough technical reviews, peer reviews, and checks to contribute to the design process.Collaborate with Senior Engineers to identify areas for improvement and develop protocols and processes for enhanced efficiency.Develop strong relationships with project teams through open communication and proactive collaboration.Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress, risk management, and resource allocation.Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.Effectively manage delegated tasks, prioritize resourcing concerns, and communicate additional fees as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.Proven experience in plumbing and fire protection design for commercial and residential buildings at various stages of development.Proficiency in fixture load calculations, pipe pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for hot and cold water and fire protection systems.Ability to prepare detailed layouts, schematics, sections, plant rooms, and hand-marked designs.Knowledge of ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ASPE, IPC, and NFPA Fire codes and standards.
