Oracle Finance Expert - Job OverviewThis role involves leading and supporting the optimization of financial processes, system configuration, and end-user enablement within Oracle ERP (Fusion or EBS).Familiarity with core finance modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Tax.Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Oracle Financial modules.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRS.Experience with financial reporting tools such as FRS, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View.Understanding of financial integrations with third-party systems.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze finance process requirements.Configure and maintain Oracle Financial modules, including ledgers, chart of accounts, allocations, journals, AP invoicing, payments, accruals, AR customer billing, receipts, adjustments, BPA, FA asset additions, depreciation, retirements, CM bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and tax management.Map business processes for P2P, O2C, and R2R cycles to Oracle functionalities.Develop functional specification documents, BRDs, and configuration workbooks.Lead data conversions, mappings, and FUT, owning all finance-related objects for opening balances, AP/AR transactions, and assets.Coordinate with technical teams on integrations, conduct system testing, and support UAT.Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, manage Oracle SRs for defect resolution.Provide end-user training, create process documentation, and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.Develop and execute test plans to ensure quality deliverables.Decent understanding of Revenue Accounting principles, ASC 606, and ASC 842.Qualifications and Experience:7+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Finance Consultant (Fusion or EBS).Strong knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP, and IFRS.Hands-on experience configuring GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Credit Management, and Tax modules.Experience with financial reporting tools, FRS, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Smart View.Understanding of financial integrations with third-party systems.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Oracle Financials Cloud Certification.Experience working in Leasing, Retail, and related industries.Exposure to Revenue Recognition principles, integrations with third parties, and related reconciliations.CPA, CMA, or ACCA certification.
