Technical Support Engineer Job DescriptionYou will work closely with our support team to provide client-facing technical assistance for software issues and collaborate with the engineering department to resolve problems.Provide technical guidance to internal and external users, including customers and partners.Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.Assist the quality assurance lead with testing activities.Troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.Conduct root cause analysis to identify problem areas.Develop solutions to prevent future issues.Ensure timely and accurate customer feedback.Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.Support the rollout of new software releases.Document technical procedures as a knowledge base.Manage multiple cases simultaneously.Evaluate and test new software releases.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.Work during standard business hours (Central Time).3-5 years of experience in tech support for web-based applications with mobile interfaces.Familiarity with Linux, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, AWS.Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.Experience with remote desktop applications and ticket management tools.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Certifications in Linux, Java, and Web development are desirable but not required.Development mindset to scale into a developer role.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
