Senior Content Writer - Finance and InsuranceWe are looking for a seasoned content professional to join our team as a Senior Content Writer. They should also be proficient in data interpretation and analysis, with experience in converting raw data into compelling stories.Key Responsibilities:Financial & Insurance Content CreationWrite long-form and short-form content for insurance products (life, health, general, motor, term, ULIPs, etc.)Create research-based blogs, explainers, guides, landing pages, scripts, newsletters, and thought-leadership content.Break down complex policy features, claims processes, benefits, exclusions, and regulatory updates into human-friendly content.Data Interpretation & Insight WritingAnalyse datasets, actuarial insights, claim statistics, industry reports, and consumer patterns.Convert raw data into visual figures, structured comparisons, charts, insights, and narratives that support content credibility.Create data-driven storytelling with statistical clarity.Ai-Assisted Writing + HumanisationUse AI tools to generate structured drafts, outlines, or research summaries.Learn and follow our internal AI-writing workflow.Humanise AI-generated content: polishing tone, injecting clarity, adding emotion, improving accuracy, and aligning with brand voice.Maintain compliance, factual correctness, and ensure content feels expert-led, not AI-written.Content Strategy & StructuringCreate SEO-optimised content structures for insurance keywords.Build content templates, guidelines, and predictable narrative flows.Ensure clarity hierarchy: hook → insight → explanation → data → CTA.Maintain consistent formatting across all financial content.Compliance & AccuracyAlign all content with IRDAI guidelines, internal compliance checks, and legal requirements.Ensure every claim, benefit, and feature is factually validated.Cross-Functional CollaborationCoordinate with insurance product teams, underwriting, claims, marketing, and analytics.Understand product briefs deeply before writing.Assist in scriptwriting for videos, brochures, emailers, and sales collateral.Required Skills and Qualifications:Core ExpertiseStrong command over financial and insurance conceptsExceptional writing, editing, and structuring skillsAbility to simplify complex jargonStrong grasp of consumer psychology and readabilityTechnical & Analytical SkillsProficiency in insurance research, market benchmarking, and data interpretationAbility to convert data into comparative tables, matrices, and figuresUnderstanding of SEO for financial contentAbility to break down regulatory updates clearlyAi + Content OperationsFamiliarity with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper, etc.)Ability to refine and humanise AI-generated draftsFast learner of internal content workflows and writing SOPsSoft SkillsDetail-orientedDeadline-drivenStrong communication and briefing skillsAbility to manage multiple content streamsStructured thinking and problem-solving approachPreferred Experience:3–5+ years in insurance, fintech, BFSI, wealth management, or related industriesExperience creating data-backed financial explainersFamiliarity with IRDAI guidelines and insurance documentationExperience with content for web, social, performance marketing, and sales enablement
