About the Role

As a Catalogue Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and optimization of the product catalogue on our e-commerce platform. The role requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless and informative shopping experience for our customers.


Roles & Responsibilities


· Oversee the upload and listing of new products on the website, ensuring all product details such as name, SKU, pricing, and availability are accurate and up to date.

· Organize and maintain the product catalogue, categorizing products effectively for easy navigation and enhanced searchability.

· Craft and review detailed, compelling product descriptions to highlight key features, benefits, and specifications for customers.

· Optimize product titles, descriptions, and attributes for search engine visibility using SEO best practices.

· Conduct regular quality assurance audits of the product catalogue to ensure consistency and accuracy.

· Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, and inventory teams to coordinate product launches, updates, and promotions.

· Utilize analytics tools to monitor product performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven improvements.

· Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely receipt of product information and updates.

· Lead and mentor a team of catalogue associates, setting goals and ensuring high standards of performance.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product listings and catalogue functionality on the e-commerce platform.


Requirements

· Proven experience in e-commerce catalogue management or a related field is mandatory.

· Strong MS Excel skills are essential.

· Good communication skills are a must, with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.

· Demonstrated experience in vendor management.

· Leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a team.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
