Job Title: Backend Software Development LeadWe are seeking an experienced Backend Software Development Lead to join our team.This role involves leading a development team, providing technical guidance and best practices. You will be hands-on in coding, reviewing, and architecting solutions for Java microservices and ETL pipelines.Responsibilities include driving the design, deployment, and orchestration of microservices in Kubernetes (AKS) with Azure Cloud integration, overseeing Snowflake pipeline creation and optimization, defining and maintaining enterprise messaging architecture using Kafka or equivalent frameworks, partnering closely with stakeholders to align teamwork with the project roadmap, coordinating across scrum teams working on both legacy systems and modernization initiatives, ensuring CI/CD pipelines are optimized and aligned with DevOps' best practices, contributing to infrastructure automation efforts (Terraform/IaC where applicable), managing task allocation, performance tracking, and delivery timelines for the team, facilitating communication across different time zones and ensuring team alignment.The ideal candidate must have at least 15 years of professional software development experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Mandatory skills include Core Java (Java 8+), J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, JSON, Microservices architecture, Spring frameworks, ETL frameworks like Apache Airflow or Spring Batch or Apache Camel, Strong experience with SQL (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL), Snowflake, and NoSQL databases, Proven experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes (AKS), Enterprise messaging systems (Kafka), CI/CD setup and troubleshooting (preferably Azure DevOps).Requirements:Core Java (Java 8+)J2EESpring BootHibernate/JPAREST APIsJSONMicroservices architectureSpring frameworksETL frameworks like Apache Airflow or Spring Batch or Apache CamelStrong experience with SQL (MS-SQL, PostgreSQL)SnowflakeNoSQL databasesAzure CloudDockerKubernetes (AKS)Enterprise messaging systems (Kafka)CI/CD setup and troubleshooting (preferably Azure DevOps)Bonus Skills:Terraform/IaCApache AirflowSpring BatchApache CamelKafka
