This role is focused on building and supporting scalable systems that support evolving business needs and enable data-driven merchandising decisions. WHAT YOU WILL DO:● Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability● Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues● Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels● Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for Merchandising systems and processes● Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents● Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as neededYOU ALSO HAVE:● Bachelor's degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software development● 5+ years of experience with PL/SQL and UNIX Shell scripting.● Nice to have Pro*c experience.● Proficient in Python development.● Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.● Good analytical skills.● Nice to have Retail experience.● Excellent communication skills.WHAT YOU WILL BRING: ● A strong understanding of retail merchandising processes, including planning, buying, allocation, and replenishment● Experience in implementing or supporting merchandising or ERP systems.● Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, with a focus on user experience and operational efficiency● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights● Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross- functionally with business, IT, and vendor teams● A mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment● Familiarity with campaign execution tools, product lifecycle management, and data governance is a plus● Passion for leveraging technology to enhance merchandising strategy and improve business outcomesYOUR LIFE AND CAREER AT SAKS GLOBAL:● Be part of a world-class team; work with an adventurous spirit; think and act like an owner-operator● Exposure to rewarding career advancement opportunities, from IT to Human Resources, Merchandising to Finance.● A culture that promotes a healthy, fulfilling work/life balance is an equal opportunity employer.
