1. POSITION SUMMARY

As the HR Manager of India, you will lead the Indian Human Resources Team. This is the excellent role for someone who is looking to further develop their current HR generalist experience in a fast moving, growing company operating within an international environment. The successful candidate will have strong generalist/ managerial HR skills - and be adaptable, flexible and with a “can do and hands-on “attitude to an ever-changing workload. The small nature of the HR team also requires a readiness to be the subject matter expert for our HR systems and the POC for all employment related issues. This position will support and sit in the O&M Halyard P&HS business in Pune, India.


2. JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead and manage the Indian HR team, providing hands-on support across all Indian HR functions
  • Oversee the implementation of complex HR projects aimed at optimizing human capital, improving workforce efficiency, and enhancing overall business performance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all employment-related matters within the Indian commercial business
  • Collaborate with local and global leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and ensure effective execution
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and implement best practices in HR operations
  • Responsible for successful onboarding of new commercial employees
  • Innovation & Change: bring new ideas to the table, review existing policies & processes and initiate/adapt to the new company to prepare for further growth
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Keep Knowledge of social labor law up to date


3. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other applicable discipline
  • Experience working in an international company and be familiar with a complex matrix organization structure.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of professional HR experience including payroll, senior stakeholders’ management, coaching, training, content building, Employee relations, etc. Robust experience within a complex changing environment and GCC implementation


4. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Comfortable working within a small team, taking a collaborative and versatile approach and cultural sensitive to be able to work with an international team based in EMEA & APAC.
  • Excellent communication skills – Fluent Indian & English language skills and ideally another Asian is desirable
  • Accurate, agile and discrete
