Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Testing Specialist.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in conducting mechanical tests, analyzing data, and preparing technical reports under minimal supervision.Main ResponsibilitiesConduct various types of mechanical tests such as tension, compression, bending, shear, hardness, impact, etc. according to relevant standards and internal procedures.Assist in setting up test rigs, fixtures, sensors, and data acquisition systems.Prepare test specimens, ensure correct mounting/alignment, and run trials as needed.Support the development and refinement of test methods and fixtures.In addition to conducting tests, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording, validating, and analyzing test data using basic statistical tools and engineering calculations to interpret results.A clear and concise report with data, graphs, and technical conclusions must be prepared based on the findings.The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in at least some of the following areas: tensile, compression, bend, shear, hardness, impact or fatigue testing, working with UTM and basic mechanical test fixtures, data acquisition systems and sensors (load cells, extensometers, strain gauges, etc.), and familiarity with mechanical/materials testing standards (IS, EN, UL or similar).Key RequirementsHands-on experience in conducting mechanical testsFamiliarity with test equipment and softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBenefitsOpportunity to work on challenging projectsCollaborative and dynamic work environmentProfessional growth and development opportunities
