Turbostart is a global startup accelerator and investment platform, enabling a new wave of entrepreneurship across emerging markets. Since its inception in 2019, Turbostart has raised over $50 million, invested in 50+ startups, and built a trusted network spanning India, MEA, the US, and APAC.
TS Bridge is a new age investment platform by Turbostart that connects investors directly to startups backed by Turbostart, offering unparalleled transparency, trust, and co-investment opportunities. Through TS Scout, an extension of TS Bridge, we’re unlocking smaller ticket-size investment opportunities by partnering with leading global universities to back promising student entrepreneurs. Together, these initiatives create a comprehensive investment ecosystem supporting startups from the idea stage to Series A and beyond.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the strategy, growth, and execution of TS Bridge. This is a high-impact role designed for a forward-thinking professional who can blend deep investment expertise with operational excellence, making TS Bridge into the go-to platform for investors seeking high-potential startups.
Role Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Shape and drive the long-term vision for TS Bridge and its ecosystem.
- Develop a roadmap to scale the platform globally, aligning with Turbostart’s investment philosophy and growth objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends in venture capital and private markets to enhance TS Bridge’s value proposition.
Investor Relations and Fundraising:
- Cultivate and grow relationships with angel investors, wealth managers, family offices, and institutional partners.
- Drive co-investment opportunities by showcasing the trust and diligence inherent in Turbostart’s active investment model.
- Represent TS Bridge across investment forums, fostering a reputation for transparency and reliability.
Partnerships and Ecosystem Development:
- Forge strong partnerships with global educational institutions to drive deal flow for TS Scout.
- Build relationships with startups, corporates, and entrepreneurial communities to strengthen the TS Bridge pipeline.
- Strategize on creating targeted campaigns, events, and content to expand the TS Bridge and Scout brands.
Team Building and Leadership:
- Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing team responsible for operations, partnerships, and investor engagement.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture that aligns with Turbostart’s mission and values.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience: 8-12 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, startup ecosystems, or investment platforms. Proven ability to scale an investment initiative or lead a high-impact portfolio.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of venture funding stages (pre-seed to Series A) and startup ecosystems globally.
- Network: A well-established network in the investment and startup community across multiple regions.
- Skills:
-Strategic thinker with the ability to operationalize and execute.
-Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
-Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.
-Hands-on leadership style, comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Education: MBA or equivalent degree preferred but not mandatory if backed by relevant experience.
