Job Title : Head- Quality

Location: Greater Noida

Qualification: Minimum Qualification Required: - B. Tech (Mechanical/Electrical)

Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in the field

Industry-Specific Experience : Preferably in Auto sector manufacturing or any manufacturing industry

Remuneration: Up to 25 LPA a nd open for good people

Reports to: MD

Requirements

Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers. Experienced in Quality Management systems (including TS16949, ISO14001 / ISO 9001 / OHAS 18001) Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Controls Plans, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes.

  Responsibilities

· Develop, implement, and maintain an effective quality management system (QMS) that aligns with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

· Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Quality activities.

· Ensure conducting audits, inspections, and tests throughout the manufacturing process to verify adherence to quality requirements.

· Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians.

· Define quality metrics and establish monitoring mechanisms to track performance and identify areas for improvement.

· Champion a program for the implementation and sustainment of a continuous improvement culture

· Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors

· Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with the procurement team to establish and maintain a robust supplier quality management system.

· Evaluating and selecting suppliers, conducting supplier audits, and driving continuous improvement in supplier quality performance.

· Handling warranty issues.

· Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.

· Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives.

· Analysing data, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

· Implement effective methods to prevent defects and reduce waste in the production process.

· Implementing statistical process control (SPC), mistake-proofing techniques, and other quality tools.

· Implementing Kaizen and QCC activities in the plant.

· Implement 5S and improve 5S Score.

· Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify trends and areas for improvement. Take proactive measures to address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction with product quality.

· Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to employees at all levels to enhance their understanding of quality principles, tools, and methodologies.

· Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards (such as ISO/TS 16949) and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

· Coordinate internal and external audits to maintain certifications and approvals.

· Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate quality performance to senior management.
