Position Title: Sr. Executive – Exports Documentation
Work Location: Head office, Lower Parel
Position Summary:
The Senior Executive in Exports Back office is responsible for managing and overseeing the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation for international shipments. This role ensures compliance with export regulations, customer specifications, and company policies. The position requires strong knowledge of international trade laws, logistics, and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre- Post Shipment Documentation Management (Export /Import)
- Prepare and review all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and export permits.
- Ensure that all documents comply with international trade regulations, customs laws, and client requirements.
- Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
- Stay updated on the latest export regulations, customs duties, taxes, and international trade policies.
- Ensure all export processes are compliant with government rules and industry standards.
- Coordination with Internal Teams:
- Collaborate with the logistics, shipping, and procurement departments to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
- Liaise with sales and finance teams to ensure smooth documentation flow and proper invoicing.
- LC documentation is a mandate.Through knowledge about the terms and conditions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in logistics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in export documentation or international trade.
- In-depth understanding of export / import documentation procedures, logistics, and compliance.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage various documents and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of SAP
