Job Description: Defense Business Head

Must : Ex Armed forces, Air force with Corporate Sales exposure.


ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

✔ Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the defense division, aligning with the company's overall goals.

✔ Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to enhance the company's

position in the defense sector.

✔ Lead the identification and pursuit of new defense contracts, projects, and opportunities.

✔ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, defense contractors, and industry partners.

✔ Collaborate with the research and development teams to ensure that our autonomous robotics

solutions meet the specific needs of defense clients.

✔ Define and communicate the unique value proposition of our products in the defense market.

✔ Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that promotes excellence and continuous

improvement.

✔ Develop and manage budgets for defense business activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and

financial sustainability.

✔ Ensure the implementation of state-of-the-art techniques to enhance the autonomy and

adaptability of the robotic systems.

✔ Identify opportunities for innovation and lead research initiatives to enhance the capabilities of

autonomous mobile robots.

✔ Handle sales & business, networking and relationship with the defense fraternity


REPORTING STRUCTURE:

✔ Role will report into MD

✔ Span of control

⮚ Direct Reportees: Technical and Mechanical head , Sales lead

⮚ Indirect Reportees : R&D team, mechanical design team, production and delivery team.


INTERACTIONS:

✔ Internal Stakeholders: MD/Directors, Sales lead , Production, software development team,

mechanical design engineers etc.

✔ External Stakeholders: External Stakeholders: Customer -CXO level leaders

II. PEOPLE SPECIFICATIONS

PROFILE: Ideally ~

✔ Engineering graduate

✔ MBA from reputed B schools

✔ NDA Pass Out (Preferred)

✔ Proven experience in a leadership role within the defense industry in autonomous systems or

robotics.

✔ Proven experience in leading teams and successfully delivering complex autonomous robotics

projects.

✔ In-depth knowledge of autonomous navigation, sensor fusion, and control systems.

✔ Exposure to technology based businesses, especially in roles where the person has networked in army and army institutions and created opportunities of growth
