Job Title: Visual Effects ArtistVFX Artists/Animators are highly skilled professionals responsible for bringing creative visions to life through the use of visual effects.Fully Remote, this role offers flexibility and autonomy in a dynamic work environment.This is a fixed-term contract lasting 3 months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and project requirements.Key Responsibilities:Visual Effects Creation: Design and implement visually stunning effects, transitions, and motion graphics using industry-standard software like After Effects.Video Editing: Enhance footage with effects, overlays, and animated elements to create engaging video content.Compositing: Combine multiple video layers, images, and graphics to produce seamless final scenes that captivate audiences.Motion Graphics: Create animated titles, lower thirds, infographics, and other dynamic elements to elevate video projects.Colour Correction & Enhancement: Adjust colour, lighting, and visual style to match project requirements and enhance overall visual appeal.Template & Asset Management: Develop reusable After Effects templates and manage project assets efficiently to streamline workflows.Required Skills and Qualifications:Expert Proficiency in Adobe After Effects: Demonstrated expertise in creating complex visual effects, animations, and motion graphics.Industry-Standard Software: Hands-on experience with Houdini, Nuke, and Maya to ensure compatibility and versatility.Adobe Creative Cloud Tools: Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator to enhance overall skills and adaptability.Strong Compositing, Keyframing, and Animation Principles: In-depth understanding of these principles to create cohesive and engaging visual effects.After Effects Templates and Expressions: Ability to create and utilize custom templates and expressions to streamline workflows and achieve desired results.Attention to Detail and Time Management: Strong ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.Good Communication and Teamwork Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills to ensure smooth project execution and team harmony.Portfolio Requirements:VFX Showreels: Showcase your best visual effects work in a well-structured showreel.Compositing Samples: Share samples of your compositing work, highlighting your ability to combine disparate elements seamlessly.Effects-Heavy Work: Include examples of your effects-heavy work, demonstrating your expertise in creating captivating visuals.Acceptable Links: Provide links to your website, Vimeo, or other approved platforms showcasing your portfolio.Tools and Equipment:Primary Tool: Adobe After Effects, used extensively for visual effects creation and editing.Preferred Tools: Houdini, Nuke, and Maya, used as needed for specific project requirements.Other Tools: Acceptable use of other tools like Blender if VFX quality is strong and meets project standards.Laptop and Software:Candidates' Responsibility: Use their own laptop and software licenses, ensuring they have the necessary hardware and software to complete tasks efficiently.No Company Assets Provided: Candidates will not receive any company-provided assets, emphasizing the need for personal equipment and software.Interview Process:Selection Based on Portfolio: The interview process will focus on evaluating candidates' portfolios, assessing their technical skills, creativity, and ability to deliver high-quality visual effects.
