About Company:
Propelld is a new age lending startup focusing in the education market doing an annual INR 700cr disbursal, backed by WestBridge Capital (largest in Financial Services space - backers of Axis, HDFC, CIBIL, AU small finance bank, Sharechat, Mamaearth, etc), looking to grow 20x times in the next 3 years to an eventual IPO. Propelld is set to become one of the largest FinTechs in India over the next 3-4 yrs and hence growth and opportunities will be limitless at this role.
Location: Bangalore, HSR Layout
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting and Bookkeeping:
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
o Record and classify financial transactions appropriately.
2. Bank Reconciliation:
o Reconcile bank statements with company accounts regularly.
o Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
3. Zoho Books Management:
o Handle all financial entries in Zoho Books.
o Generate reports and manage financial dashboards.
4. Invoice and Payment Management:
o Prepare and issue invoices.
o Track payments and manage accounts receivable and payable.
5. Compliance and Reporting:
o Assist in tax filing and compliance activities.
o Prepare periodic financial reports for management review.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar financial software.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in MS Excel and other office tools.
Good communication skills and ability
