Backend Developer Job DescriptionWe're looking for a talented Backend Developer to join our team and help us build cutting-edge AI-driven platforms that power intelligent healthcare solutions.This role will focus on designing and implementing scalable backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that support our AI-powered healthcare products. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, frontend engineers, and product leaders to bring advanced AI models into production.Main Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs to support healthcare AI applications.Integrate AI/ML models into production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) to deploy and optimize backend services.Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, storing, and serving large healthcare datasets.Cross-functional collaboration for end-to-end solutions.Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy/security standards (HIPAA, PHI handling).Optimize backend performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.Requirements4+ years of experience as a Backend Developer/Software Engineer.Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, or Java (Python preferred for AI workflows).Hands-on experience integrating and deploying AI/ML models into production systems.Strong understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model lifecycle management.Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.Knowledge of healthcare standards (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) is a plus.
