You care about the well-being of others and yourself.Job Description: Senior Elasticsearch Engineer (Cloud, Ansible, Terraform, Python) - 8+ Years ExperienceOverview:We are looking for a motivated Senior-Level Elasticsearch Engineer with 8+ years of experience to play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of our Elasticsearch clusters within the on-prem & cloud environment. Your expertise in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, automation tools like Ansible & Terraform, and proficiency in Python programming will contribute to the stability, scalability, and efficiency of our database infrastructure.Responsibilities:Architect, deploy, and maintain large-scale Elasticsearch clusters in productionOptimize indexing, querying, and cluster performance for high-throughput workloadsImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stackAutomate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management with AnsibleCollaborate with DevOps and backend teams to integrate Elasticsearch into broader systemsTroubleshoot complex issues across cloud, network, and application layersDocument best practices, runbooks, and performance benchmarksParticipate in rotational on-call support to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical database systems.Collaborate with teams to gather and understand database requirements, contributing insights for architectural decisions.Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems on cloud platforms, focusing on optimizing Google Cloud Platform services.Develop automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code solutions using Ansible, Terraform and Python to provision, configure, and manage database instances and clusters.Participate in version control processes to manage infrastructure code and configurations effectively.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, databases, cloud computing, and Python programming. Qualification:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).8+ years of hands-on experience managing Elasticsearch in production environmentsDeep understanding of Elasticsearch internals: shards, replicas, mappings, analyzers, and lifecycle policies, snapshot backup/restoreStrong proficiency in Bash or Python for scripting and automationProven experience with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and AnsibleCloud expertise in either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)Why you'll love working here: As leaders in enterprise customer conversations, we celebrate diversity, empowering our team to forge impactful conversations globally.
