Global IT Support SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Global IT Support Specialist to join our team. If you have strong skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain Linux or Windows servers across development, testing, and production environments.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical applications and systems.Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents quickly.Set up, configure, and maintain virtual machines, cloud instances, and on-prem infrastructure.Manage users, permissions, and security policies across systems.Apply patches, updates, and upgrades for OS, applications, and security components.Support network troubleshooting, firewall rules, VPN access, and connectivity issues.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator.Strong knowledge of either Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) or Windows Server administration.Experience with user management, permissions, and system security best practices.Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).Understanding of backup, recovery, and storage systems.Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP.Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools: Intune, SCCM, Jamf.Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).Exposure to monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).Benefits:Work on global infrastructure and IT support initiatives.Multiple openings with rapid onboarding.Fully remote with flexible working hours.Long-term freelance engagement with consistent workload.
