Position summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in deploying and managing microservices-based web GUI products for enterprise clients. The role requires close collaboration with clients and system administrators to ensure the seamless delivery, deployment, and ongoing optimization of our modern, containerized applications. The candidate must bring a robust understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native technologies, and microservices orchestration. This person must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to take the deployments of our product to the next level.


Responsibilities

Client Collaboration and Deployment:

  • Work closely with clients to plan, deploy, and configure microservices-based web GUI solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure deployments align with client infrastructure and operational goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues in collaboration with client teams.


Microservices and Web GUI Deployment:

  • Implement containerized microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
  • Design deployment strategies for scalable and high-performance web GUI applications.
  • Optimize deployment pipelines for efficient updates and minimal downtime.


Infrastructure and Automation:

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Design cloud-based and on-premise solutions tailored to client environments.


Continuous Integration and Delivery:

  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Team City, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
  • Enable automated testing and integration for seamless deployments.
  • Develop rollback and disaster recovery plans to ensure system reliability.


Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of microservices.
  • Fine-tune application and infrastructure configurations for optimal client satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or scaling challenges.


Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure secure deployments by integrating best practices for network, data, and application security.
  • Maintain compliance with client-specific regulatory and operational requirements.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years in DevOps, with a focus on microservices and web GUI deployments.
  • Proven track record of working with enterprise clients to deploy complex solutions.
  • Experience coding C#, .NET applications using .NET Core 8+
  • Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator).


Required Skills

Microservices & Containerization:

  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.


Web GUI Deployment:

  • Experience deploying and managing modern web applications built with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Knowledge of backend APIs and their integration with frontend GUIs.


DevOps & Automation:

  • Expertise in CI/CD tools like Team City, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.


Cloud Platforms:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native tools like Helm, Istio, or serverless computing.


Monitoring and Diagnostics:

  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack for performance monitoring and diagnostics.


Collaboration and Client Engagement:

  • Excellent communication skills to work directly with client technical teams.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable deployment strategies.
