Job Title: Senior UI Designer with JavaScript Angular/TypeScript Expertise
Description:
Luxoft is seeking an experienced Senior UI Designer with a strong background in JavaScript, Angular, and TypeScript to join our team. As a key member of our telecom test solution engineering team, you will contribute to the development of a family of products used for functional, system integration, capacity, and stress testing in the lab and emulation of up to 1000 mobile devices.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development life cycle for new features, from specification writing to design, implementation, and testing, ensuring high standards are met.
- Deliver new features to the product from design through to development and testing, with prototyping where necessary.
- Ensure the product's Quality and Performance based on automated tests integrated within a Continuous Integration system.
- Find and alleviate architectural bottlenecks, providing solutions that help customers achieve their goals.
- Expose our product's features and capabilities through a configuration and management interface that is useful for customers.
- Make our solution smarter, easier to integrate, and more able to diagnose issues and provide insightful tips to customers.
- Work effectively with the Test & Verification team to resolve issues.
Mandatory Skills:
- 2-4 years of professional experience in UI design or related roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI design projects, including user-centered design processes.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Experience in creating wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Understanding of UI frameworks like Material Design, Bootstrap, etc.
- Good knowledge of HTML and CSS, with a plus for understanding implementation of designs.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript (3+ years), HTML5, CSS3.
- Ability to maintain design consistency and adhere to branding guidelines across different platforms.
- Familiarity with UX design principles and processes.
- Good understanding of the responsive design approach.
- Familiarity with working in agile development environments.
- Good spoken and written English.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Usability Testing: Experience with usability testing and gathering user feedback to improve designs.
- User Research: Basic understanding of user research methods and the ability to integrate insights into the design process.
- Animation and Microinteractions: Knowledge of creating animations and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
- Design Systems: Experience in building or working within a design system.
- Good understanding of OOP JS, Ajax, and software design patterns.
- Good knowledge of modern Angular (e.g. v14+) technology for project.
- Good knowledge of Bootstrap 3+ and LESS.
- Minimal level of experience with data streaming in front-end which implies async programming - we will consider any similar technology such as WebSockets, gRPC, RX/JS.
- Use of charting libraries such as HighCharts, AmChart or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Single Page Applications (2+ years) over REST.

- Experience and knowledge of networking or telecom domain solutions.
