Job Description:In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch desktop engineering support to our organization. Your primary focus will be on investigating systemic issues that negatively impact the end-user experience and implementing solutions to enhance productivity. You will work closely with business partners to understand their needs and pain points, ensuring seamless integration and support of desktop systems.You will utilize your expertise in Desktop Experience (DEX) to optimize user productivity and satisfaction. Additionally, you will develop and implement automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks, while providing expert-level support to end-users and training them on best practices.Troubleshooting: Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve desktop-related issues efficiently.DEX Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of Desktop Experience (DEX) to enhance user productivity and satisfaction.Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks.Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and support of desktop systems.User Support: Provide expert-level support to end-users, addressing their technical concerns and training them on best practices.Key Responsibilities:Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:7-10 years of experience in Windows desktop engineering or a related fieldSubject matter expert in Windows OS internals (kernel, registry, services, drivers, etc)Working knowledge of OS-level troubleshooting toolsExperience utilizing a Unified Endpoint Management tool for managing domain and Entra Windows devicesStrong background in Desktop Experience (DEX) tools to measure endpoint performance, correlate issues with changes, and user experience optimizationExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolutionExperience with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automationStrong verbal and written communication skillsBenefits:This role offers a range of benefits, including:Opportunities for professional growth and developmentA dynamic and collaborative work environmentThe chance to make a real impact on the organization's successOthers:Please note that this role requires a current L2 or L3 level of expertise.
