When we add credit and engagement into the mix, the challenge becomes even more interesting with underwriting and recommendation algorithms working on large data sets. We have eliminated the current call center, sales agent, and SMS-based processes with a mobile app that puts the customers in complete control. The ideal candidate will possess strong prioritization skills, focusing on tasks based on their business impact.What you will do:- Lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.- Strategically prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with key business objectives and maximum impact.- Architect, design, and oversee the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance systems with a steadfast focus on reliability and efficiency.- Mentor and empower junior engineers, cultivating their skills and guiding them through their career development journey.- Proactively manage the team's technical backlog, identifying opportunities for improvement and driving continuous development.- Champion the rapid adoption of new concepts and cutting-edge technologies to keep our engineering practices at the forefrontWhat are we looking for :Essential Qualifications:- 8-10 years of progressive experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.- Demonstrated expertise in leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.- Exceptional strategic prioritization skills, with a track record of focusing on tasks that deliver maximum business impact.- Strong adaptability and a continuous learning mindset to quickly master new technologies and concepts.- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive and maintain efficiency in dynamic, fast-paced environments.Preferred Qualifications:- Prior experience working within fast-paced startup or high-growth environments.- A solid understanding of the fintech industry landscape and its unique challenges.- Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern architectural patterns (e.g., microservices).- Based in Pune or willingness to relocate to our Pune office.FPL Technologies is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
