Director of Sales Excellence

Job OverviewThis is a senior sales leadership role responsible for managing the prospect journey and optimizing each step to drive conversions through to close.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end pipeline management: Take ownership of qualified meetings, define stages of the sales funnel, and continuously optimize each step.Discovery and demos: Lead discovery calls, conduct compelling product demos for prospects, and work with Customer Success and Engineering to create custom demos.Mentor and coach: Mentor AEs on best practices to close large ACV customers and help current AEs close deals by joining in as the senior persona.Pilots: Manage pilots, demonstrate Humantic's value for specific use cases, and project manage deals to victory.Negotiate contracts and win deals by demonstrating Humantic's value compared to legacy vendors.Implementation: Work with Engineering and Solutions to manage implementations and nudge prospects towards go-live.Exceed sales quotas and instill best-in-class CRM hygiene for improved pipeline visibility.Drive product improvement and advocate for customer needs in discussions with Product, Design, and Engineering.Hire and build a team of AEs over time.Qualifications8+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS to US customers.Previous experience selling to Mid Market and Enterprise customers: Closed Enterprise deals, $75k+ ACV, ideally $100k+.Prior experience coaching/managing junior AEs is a strong plus.Ability to build, manage, and motivate a team.Prior success as one of the first AEs at a startup; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Track record of consistently beating your quota.Solid hustle and entrepreneurial mindset.Strong project management skills and proactiveness.Strong first-principles understanding of sales processes (e.g. MEDDPICC).MANDATORY: Willing to work in the US time zone (~4 am IST) on weekdays because the majority of our clients are based in the US.What We OfferThe opportunity to work with a cutting-edge AI company that humanizes the internet with its product at the intersection of AI, Psychology, and large-scale data.Our customers include prominent companies such as AWS, NextEra Energy, Cushman & Wakefield, Domo, AcuityMD, Gitlab, and Manchester United's sales team.A dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can grow your skills and expertise as a sales leader.Competitive compensation and benefits package.
