SonyLIV is seeking smart, driven and experienced Product Manager (SVOD, Payments & Subscription Management). The incumbent is responsible to develop product requirements, analyze trends, drive the product vision and strategy, and partner with Engineering and Product design to manage the execution of the overall product roadmap.


Location - Bangalore


POSITION SPECIFICATION

Education - Graduate/ Post Graduate, MBA desired; undergraduate degree is a must, technical degree highly preferred

Overall Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in payments and/or driving subscriptions, must understand Digital payments ecosystem, experience in working with Engineering, Design teams and Payment gateway partners. 6+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years’ experience with consumer Internet or Web-based technology products and services.

Desirable experience - Managing Product in Digital Video Platform



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving the overall product vision, strategy, and user requirements that will fuel user growth and product evolutions
  • Leading cross-functional teams in delivering quality products, and making appropriate trade-offs
  • Continuously deliver advances in the product by executing against the product roadmap, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive offerings and how they impact consumer choices and preferences, and how they should influence the products
  • Constant focus on user feedback and actioning insights to drive product improvements.
  • Defining product success metrics and analyzing product performance by driving the product agenda with Engineering Design, and other cross-functional teams to deliver
  • Drive the realization of the product by delivering against a robust and visionary roadmap.
  • KPI driven decision making
  • Derive insights from data and use the same for product improvements and iterations.
  • Conduct A/B tests
  • Enhance the payments experience by defining & executing the product strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously evaluate and offer the best payment options to the customers.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong understanding of the technical aspect of SEO, on-page optimization techniques and internal linking structures
  • Proven ability to grow organic traffic and identify and operationalize opportunities around organic search
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Experience in implementing A/B tests
