Senior Investment Professional Job DescriptionAs a Senior Investment Professional, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading investment transactions and advisory mandates in climate and health-related sectors.This is a hands-on, execution-focused position that requires direct involvement in deal sourcing, due diligence, financial structuring, and investor engagement. You will be responsible for conducting detailed financial due diligence, building, auditing, and refining complex financial models for equity, debt, and blended finance transactions.You will lead financial structuring for transactions, ensuring robust valuation, risk allocation, and returns analysis. Additionally, you will prepare investment memoranda, teasers, and transaction documents for investors and boards.Key Responsibilities:Transaction Execution and StructuringConduct detailed financial due diligence and build, audit, and refine complex financial models for equity, debt, and blended finance transactions.Lead financial structuring for transactions including project finance, growth equity, and M&A, ensuring robust valuation, risk allocation, and returns analysis.Prepare investment memoranda, teasers, and transaction documents for investors and boards.Investor Engagement and FundraisingEvaluate and execute fundraising strategies for companies and projects, including sourcing and engaging with investors, negotiating terms, and supporting deal closure.Work with founders and management teams to optimize capital structures, prepare datarooms, and respond to investor due diligence queries.Financial Analysis and ModelingConduct market, sector, and regulatory analysis across assigned industries and geographies to identify emerging investment opportunities.Client Advisory and Portfolio SupportAssess investment readiness and advise startups, corporates, and project developers on improving bankability.Leadership and Knowledge DevelopmentMentor junior analysts and contribute to developing best-in-class financial models, valuation frameworks, and investment toolkits.
