Cloud Computing ProfessionalThe role involves working with our Data Platform team for a major insurance client.Architect and build the EDP application platform to support client internal data teams onboarding and provisioning data in cloud environment.Design and implement microservices architecture to support different workloads like data marts, data warehouses, AI/ML.Key Responsibilities and Skillsets:Common Qualifications:Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and prepare client-ready deliverables with minimal supervision.Effective communication skill for client interaction.Application Development Requirements:Experience in designing, implementing, and testing Python applications with object-oriented programming, multi-tier architecture, parallel/multi-threaded programming.Programming experience with Python is essential; Java/Scala is a desirable addition.Experience with AWS technologies including AppSync, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge.Solid experience of AWS services such as CloudFormation, S3, Glue, EMR/Spark, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, SM etc.Familiarity with modern cloud-native data warehouses i.e., AWS Redshift, Snowflake or Azure Synapse Analytics.Experience implementing metadata solutions leveraging AWS non-relational data solutions such as ElastiCache and DynamoDB.Working experience with Python, and Spark is desired Experience working on Agile projects.AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Big Data Certification preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Willingness to learn new skills and implement new technologies.Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Collaborative team player who can build strong relationships at all levels of technology and business organization.
