Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Unix & Cloud Data Support Engineer to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable ingestion, transformation and delivery of data from multiple global sources, supporting production environments, and collaborating with international teams to maintain a critical financial data platform.Key Responsibilities:Administer and support Unix/Linux-based environments hosting data processing and integration services.Operate and maintain ETL pipelines, integrating data from multiple systems into centralized databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations in real-time production systems.Support services hosted in AWS, including resource, process, and file management.Utilize SQL for data querying and analysis.Collaborate with global development and support teams across AMERS and Europe, particularly during peak Europe business hours.Contribute to final testing and stabilization phases of a multi-year development effort preparing for full production release.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Unix system administration, a solid understanding of cloud-based data services (especially AWS), and hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and production support.Required Skills and Qualifications:Unix System Administration: Proficiency in administering and supporting Unix/Linux-based environments is essential.Cloud-Based Data Services: A deep understanding of cloud-based data services, especially AWS, is required.ETL Pipelines: Experience with ETL pipelines and production support is necessary.SQL: Familiarity with SQL for data querying and analysis is desired.About UsWe are an independent technology consulting firm with a global footprint, bringing together diverse talents from various backgrounds to deliver innovative solutions to clients worldwide.
