General Skill Set:

  • Comes from a Consulting/ leading industry player ;
  • Has experience in strategy, operations & technology;
  • Has deep functional experience in CPG Operations (Category Management/ Sales and Distribution/CPG Trade Marketing/CPG Manufacturing etc );
  • Exposure to both modern trade and multi tier distribution models for CPG
  • Core Functional Knowledge across Sales and Distribution, Category Management, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement etc .
  • Candidate with experience in leading and implementing large scale strategic/ digital programs / projects, typically business / functional side, across the full lifecycle would be desirable.
  • The key emphasis of the candidates work should be on envisioning, solution formulation and design stages in a project lifecycle.
  • The candidate needs to have depth in consulting to industries in the CPG portfolio on strategic and operational issues around topics like CPG Analytics, CPG Trade Management, CPG Sales and Distribution Solutions, New Product Introduction, Supply Chain Optimization, CPG Marketing, etc.


Nice to Have Skill Set:

  • Lean/ Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard/ EPM Frameworks, APICS CPIM/ CSCP Certifications

  • Willingness to travel on short notice on short or long term engagements within or outside the country
  • Should have worked in business transformation/ consulting assignments either with a consulting firm or as part of internal corporate initiatives
  • User champions or digital transformation engagement leads for digital transformation projects in CPG industry
  • Exposure to domestic operations as well as international operations of CPG companies.
  • Proven Ability to work with multi-cultural teams across geos.
