Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to support our global IT operations, infrastructure management, and enterprise system environments. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who have expertise in managing servers, networks, cloud environments, and end-user systems.This role requires a strong understanding of Linux or Windows server administration, as well as experience with user management, permissions, and system security best practices. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues, and have hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).The successful candidate will work independently in a remote environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines. They will be responsible for monitoring system performance, ensuring high availability of critical applications and infrastructure, and troubleshooting system issues quickly.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain Linux or Windows servers across development, testing, and production environments.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical applications and infrastructure.Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents quickly.Set up, configure, and maintain virtual machines, cloud instances, and on-prem infrastructure.Manage users, permissions, and security policies across systems.Apply patches, updates, and upgrades for OS, applications, and security components.Support network troubleshooting, firewall rules, VPN access, and connectivity issues.Work with ticketing systems, document resolutions, and follow standard ITIL processes.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator.Strong knowledge of either Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) or Windows Server administration.Experience with user management, permissions, and system security best practices.Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).Understanding of backup, recovery, and storage systems.Ability to work independently in a remote environment.BenefitsOpportunity to work on global infrastructure and IT support initiatives.Multiple openings with rapid onboarding.Fully remote with flexible working hours.Long-term freelance engagement with consistent workload.Exposure to modern cloud and hybrid IT environments.About the RoleThis is a long-term freelance engagement with opportunities for career growth and development.
