Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and quality support to our customers in the automotive and general illumination sectors.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive lighting systems, quality processes, and customer-facing skills. You will work closely with our global engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure seamless integration of our LED products into customer applications.You will be responsible for:Acting as the primary technical interface for customers' design teams, product development engineers, and quality teamsSUPPORTING Automotive Lighting and General Illumination OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and Setmakers in integrating Lumileds productsPromoting Lumileds solutions, identifying application opportunities, and supporting new business developmentAddressing customer queries related to FMEA, DVPR, Safe Launch Plan, Control Plan, PPAP, and change managementManaging communication between customers and Lumileds' global engineering, manufacturing, and quality teamsAnalyzing quality trends, identifying root causes, and driving corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)SUPPORTING customer audits (IATF16949, ISO9001) and internal QMS initiativesMONITORING and managing Product Change Notifications (PCN) and Product Termination Notices (PTN)SUPPORTING customer Safe Launch and early-life production activitiesRepresenting the customer's voice internally to ensure product performance and quality reliabilityPreparing and presenting technical documentation, reports, and failure analysesRequirementsMinimum 15 years of experience in Automotive Lighting New Product Development, Production Operations / Quality Control / Supplier Quality Engineering, or Technical problem-solving, quality data analysis, and customer issue resolutionStrong understanding of automotive quality systems including FMEA, DVPR, CP, SLP, PPAP, 8D, RCA methodologiesProven experience executing cross-functional quality improvement projectsExperience handling customer audits and quality documentationKnowledge of LED technologies and automotive lighting system designExperience working with India-based setmakers such as Lumax, Varroc, Fiem, SL, Neolite, or OEMs such as TVS, Hero, Suzuki, Toyota, Tata Motors, Mahindra, etc.Ability to work independently and provide technical consultative supportStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related fields)BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our company.
