About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Physical Design (PD) Lead to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in physical design tools and methodologies to lead high-impact PD programs and guide large teams through the entire ASIC design flow. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end projects for one of our key accounts, driving excellence and innovation in physical design.

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience: 15+ years of experience in physical design, with proven expertise in managing large-scale PD projects.

Tool Proficiency: Proficient in Physical Design tools (ICC2 or Innovus), Static Timing Analysis tools (PrimeTime or Tempus), and Physical Verification tools (Calibre).

Program Management: Demonstrated experience in leading multiple PD programs with team sizes of 30 or more engineers.

Full ASIC Flow Expertise: Strong understanding of the full ASIC flow, from front-end RTL to back-end physical implementation and GDSII handoff.

Leadership and Mentorship: Proven track record of technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead PD Programs: Manage and lead multiple physical design (PD) programs, each with a team size of up to 30 engineers.

Tool Expertise: Utilize expertise in Physical Design tools such as ICC2 or Innovus and Static Timing Analysis (STA) tools like PrimeTime or Tempus. Perform Physical Verification (PV) using tools like Calibre.

ASIC Flow Management: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the full ASIC flow from RTL to GDSII, ensuring successful design completion and tape-out.

Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship to the PD team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Account Management: Motivate and lead the team to manage and deliver on the end-to-end responsibilities for a key account at Tech Mahindra.

Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, DFT, and packaging teams, to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
