Plant Operations Manager

Position: Plant Operation Manager Location : Silvassa Education: B. E/ B. Tech in Mechanical/ /Production Engineer from institute of repute. Experience: 15 to 20 years, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in plant/factory operations in auto ancillary, tool manufacturing, or ball manufacturing industry Brief Job Description Plant Operations Manager, Silvassa will be responsible for managing factory operations at Tsubaki Nakashima with strong focus on building Zero Injury work culture, serve our customer fostering customer centricity work approach, and driving productivity and operational efficiency parameters as per set matrices. He /she will stay focused to accomplish Monthly outputs aligned to our business plan for the year. The role demands strong leadership in production, maintenance, HR/ER, supply chain coordination, quality assurance, Safety, and administration. He should have clear line of sight to our customer demand and ensure we serve our customer as per demand schedules Reporting: Operations Director, TN India Responsibilities Operations Management: Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure Monthly outputs in line with the Business planning, timely delivery, with quality output, and cost control. Lead planning and control of production with its execution, WIP control and monitoring in alignment with sales forecasts, Inventory targets, and customer orders. Ensure machine uptime, process reliability, and throughput maximization through effective maintenance coordination. Daily Management, troubleshooting & system fool proofing, Gap analysis, and Gemba walks and meetings. Implement multiple company initiatives / Programs focused on Safety, Quality, Operations efficiency, and company policies. Support driving employee engagement and skill development programs. Participate in periodic audits (internal & external) for process and customer quality adherence. Own cost reduction, rejection reduction, productivity improvements, OEE improvements and QMS adherence. Fully support development of new machines, LCA’s, better material handling equipment, newer processes, and supply items. Safety and people: Drive a zero-accident culture; ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and safety norms. Ensure smooth employee relation in a unionized setup. Have periodic employee engagement and communication to support morale boosting, Motivation. Compliance towards statutory and regulatory requirements. Stake holder Management. Coordinate with HR for recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and legal compliance. Liaison with supply chain, sales, project management, quality, commercial and finance teams for smooth plant operations. Budget Preparation of plant. Quality & Continuous Improvement : Host customer visits, audits, and ensure factory readiness to meet client-specific requirements. Drive lean initiatives, Kaizens, TQM, TCM, TPM, and 5S to improve productivity, cost competitiveness, and efficiency.
