We are seeking an innovative and strategic leader to head plant operations at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The AVP/VP Plant Operations will be responsible for driving manufacturing excellence, cleanroom compliance, digital transformation, and operational optimization, while building high-performing teams and ensuring scalability for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end plant operations including Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS.
  • Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, GMP, ISO, and USFDA standards.
  • Drive OEE improvement through downtime analysis, predictive maintenance, and process optimization.
  • Implement Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Optimize cost structures by improving machinery, manpower, and material utilization.

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives:

  • CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for production alignment with customer needs.

  • Power BI/Tableau for dashboards, KPI monitoring, and performance analytics.
  • AI/ML for demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, and decision support.

  • ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central) for integrated operations.

  • Manage capital projects – plant expansion, automation, and new product industrialization.

  • Build, mentor, and inspire teams with a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure audit readiness and adherence to customer, internal, and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years' experience in plant operations with focus on rubber/silicone/polymer manufacturing.
  • Strong exposure to cleanroom-based processes (extrusion, molding, medical-grade handling).
  • Proven track record in OEE improvement, cost efficiency, and digital manufacturing.
  • Practical experience with CRM (Salesforce), BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), ERP systems.
  • Exposure to AI/ML in smart manufacturing highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and hands-on execution skills.Role & responsibilities
