About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced E-commerce Technical Project Manager with a strong background in managing BigCommerce or Shopify projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in leading end-to-end e-commerce implementations on these platforms.This role requires someone who understands the complexities of the BigCommerce ecosystem, from setup and theme customization to integrations and post-deployment optimization. The successful candidate will have delivered multiple projects focused on BigCommerce (or Shopify) while working closely with developers, clients, and business stakeholders to create high-quality e-commerce experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of BigCommerce/Shopify projects, from requirements gathering and sprint planning to deployment and post-launch optimization.Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams for all e-commerce project deliverables.Collaborate with developers and designers to deliver custom storefronts, APIs, and integrations.Oversee migration projects to BigCommerce or Shopify from other platforms like Magento or WooCommerce.Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery aligned with scope, timelines, and budget.Identify and implement BigCommerce/Shopify apps and third-party integrations to enhance site functionality.Monitor QA, testing, and performance to ensure flawless store launches.Provide proactive communication to clients and stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation plans.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 3+ years of proven experience as an E-commerce Project Manager, with expertise in BigCommerce or Shopify project management.Strong understanding of BigCommerce and/or Shopify platform architecture, APIs, customizations, and integrations.Experience in migration, theme customization, and store setup on BigCommerce or Shopify.Familiarity with cross-functional teams working on SaaS e-commerce platforms.Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Proficiency in project tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Good understanding of e-commerce operations, including product catalog, checkout, payments, shipping, and fulfillment workflows.
