Job Title: Capex ManagerThis is a challenging opportunity to work as a Capex Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Fixed Assets and Capital Accounting, ensuring compliance with company policies, SOX controls, and statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Manage the capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of fixed assets.Perform variance analysis on depreciation and develop global forecasts for budgeting and reporting.Calculate and post capitalized interest entries, including review of WACC with treasury.Maintain the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and reconcile sub ledger with General Ledger.Manage accounting of asset transfers, retirements, and disposals, including determination and recording of associated gain or loss.Rollover PP&E & Intangible asset and Accumulated Depreciation accounts.Conduct yearly impairment testing for Customer Lists, Trademark and Technology assets in collaboration with Corporate Accounting team.Track capital expenditures against approved budgets and manage Construction in Progress (CIP) accounts.Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate asset-related data.Requirements:Candidate should have CA / CMA / MBA Finance with minimum 5-12 years relevant experience in fixed assets accounting, preferably in manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting related to Fixed Asset/Intangibles.Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with large-scale capital projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.Experience working with ERP systems, such as SAP.Experience with CAPEX projects and asset impairment assessments.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with employees at all levels within the organization.This role requires occasional travel to different sites or for professional development opportunities. Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday (EU timings), with possibility of additional hours during peak periods.
