Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
1. Set up Collateral Policy & Processes for Mortgage product for respective Zone/ State / region.
2. Scrutinising and assessing the property valuations and technical scrutiny reports submitted valuation vendor for Resi, Commercial & Industrial properties
3. Identify shortcomings in Valuation reports and errors, if any, in technical due diligence of the property.
4. Consider obsolescence or depreciation factors while determining property market value.
5. Develop a defined deviation matrix along with technical policy and process notes.
6. Suggest necessary corrections in policies & procedures from time to time as per state specific bye-laws to resolve property deviations / mitigate related issues within the team as well as with the external agencies.
7. Manage Valuation vendors.
8. Ensure meticulous compliance with the entity's internal collateral management policy as well as regulatory guidelines.
9. Ensure compliance with benchmark turnaround time.
10. To monitor and maintain new vendor empanelment process, cost reduction analysis and TAT of Valuation
11. Visit properties for sample & exception cases to ensure detailed property due diligence.
Preferred Skills
Professional qualification, Graduate or post graduate degree, preferably in Civil Engineering along with sound domain knowledge of Mortgage properties and market. Overall 12+ years of experience in Technical Due Diligence of property market for the respective state.
