Manager - Reconciliation Operations will lead the operational effectiveness of our acquiring payment products by ensuring Card scheme, banks and merchant reconciliation and settlements. This role focuses on driving clearing and reconciliation between Card Schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay, Amex, CUP etc), internal systems and multiple banks process lines.
You will be an integral part of our operations team, which is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service quality and working closely with product teams to drive innovation and set a strategic direction for payments and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
- Handling Clearing, Settlement and Reconciliation for all of our partner banks, merchants within the pre decided time
- Coordinating with Card Schemes, Banks and overall responsibility for account reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, Ledger Management, Publish Monthly Reporting.
- Identifying and addressing operational gaps, managing product configurations, handling client escalations, and overseeing payment and balance reconciliations.
- Ensure the reliability and scalability of systems and processes by managing technical solutions and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, etc.) to drive process optimization
- Ensure daily reporting and reconciliations between network, system and bank files are done and un-reconciled items are followed up and acted upon.
- Daily/Monthly/Quarterly regulatory reporting
- Co-ordinate with Banks for issues in reconciliation and payment related issues.
- Keep track of daily activities as Merchant Fee/MDRs, Gateway commissions, Net Banking commissions, Refunds and Dispute fees.
Qualifications:
- Atleast 4-5 years of experience in Operations, Card Scheme (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, CUP etc) clearing and settlements, Bank reconciliation
- Strong understanding of Card Scheme, Banking, Fintech and Payment regulations related to acquiring
- Problem solving and solution oriented, Skilled in data reporting, dashboards, trend analysis
