Location: KolkataEmployment Type: Full timeOverview:We are looking for a Senior Accounts Manager to handle the complete accounting operations for a US based logistics company. The person should have strong hands on experience in QuickBooks and must be able to manage all aspects of finance and accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll, and monthly financial reporting.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily accounting activities including posting vendor invoices, customer billing, and expense entries in QuickBooksHandle end to end Accounts Payable including vendor management, invoice processing, payments through ACH or wire, and maintaining AP agingManage Accounts Receivable including customer invoicing, collections follow up, and cash applicationPrepare and review monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statementsPerform bank and credit card reconciliations for multiple accountsPost journal entries and ensure proper classification in the general ledgerReview expense reports, employee reimbursements, and ensure correct accounting under respective GL codesManage revenue recognition and expense amortization as per contract or service periodPrepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecastsMaintain vendor and customer master data with accuracyEnsure timely month end and year end closing with all reconciliations completedCoordinate with the US team for audit schedules and provide all required supporting documentsHandle payroll processing for US employees including adjustments, tax deductions, and compliance reportingSupport 1099 filings for vendors and ensure adherence to applicable accounting and tax standardsIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvement within QuickBooks and related toolsMonitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely mannerRequirements:8 to 15 years of accounting experience with at least 4 years working on US based accountsStrong working knowledge of QuickBooks and understanding of US GAAPExperience in managing both Accounts Payable and Accounts ReceivableKnowledge of payroll processing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance for US entitiesStrong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUPAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with international teamsAttention to detail, accuracy, and analytical thinkingPreferred Qualifications:MBA Finance, MCom, or CA InterPrior experience in logistics or service industryExposure to tools like NetSuite, Xero, or Ramp
