Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Manager to lead our accounting and finance function. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in e-commerce or D2C business accounting, a strong understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations including sales, purchases and reconciliations.
  • Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance, filings, and returns.
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets.
  • Oversee e-commerce accounting including marketplace reconciliations (Shopify, Amazon, Myntra, FirstCry etc.) and payment gateway settlements (Razorpay etc.).
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal teams for accurate financial reporting.
  • Implement effective cost control and budgeting processes.
  • Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.
  • Support management in financial planning and decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an E-commerce or D2C environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and overall taxation framework.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally (or other accounting ERPs), and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in inventory accounting and costing for manufacturing setups.
  • Knowledge of E-commerce dashboards and financial integrations.
  • Prior experience working in start-up or growth-stage brands.
