Technical Writer

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Content Writer with 3-5 years of experience in technical writing and content creation to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of technical communications and a keen understanding of software products and digital solutions. A background in Computer Science or Technical Communications is preferred.

About the Role: As a Technical Content Writer at Intellect Design Arena, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging content for various technical documentation, user guides, white papers, case studies, blog posts, and marketing materials. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product Managers, Software Developers, and UX/UI Designers—to ensure that all technical content is accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with the brand’s messaging.

Location: Siruser - Sipcot IT Park, Chennai (Work From Office)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Intellect’s fintech products, including user manuals, API documentation, installation guides, and release notes following established DDLC processes.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate complex fintech features into clear, accessible documentation that serves both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create high-quality content for case studies, white papers, blog posts, thought leadership articles, success stories, and other marketing materials to highlight the capabilities and benefits of our fintech solutions.
• Design and produce video-based or interactive learning materials. The ideal individual will have a proven track record in creating engaging, multimedia-driven educational content, including instructional videos, interactive tutorials, and e-learning modules that facilitate effective learning experiences.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and voice across all content, aligning with Intellect’s brand guidelines and messaging.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality.
• Optimize content for SEO and engagement, ensuring adherence to best practices in digital content creation.
• Stay updated with emerging financial technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes to maintain the relevance and accuracy of all content.
• Contribute to content strategy by identifying opportunities to create thought leadership and educational content for diverse audiences.
• Manage multiple content deliverables across various products simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, and UX/UI) to ensure content meets both product and customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in technical writing, content writing, or technical communication, with a preference for experience in the fintech or financial services domain.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Office, Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira, and Active Presenter (or similar video editing software).
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and XML for creating structured content is highly desirable.
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal).
• Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs) and best practices for SEO optimization.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics for content performance tracking.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Active Presenter) for creating visual content is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira for managing project timelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science.
• Experience in Fintech is highly preferred.
• Certifications in technical writing or related fields.
• Familiarity with cloud-based financial solutions and digital banking trends.
• Previous experience in content strategy or digital marketing.
