Job Title: Pre-Sales Manager, Energy Storage
Description of Key Job Duties:
- Technical System Assessments: Perform technical assessments for BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects and review equipment specifications to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Project Support: Provide technical support and coordination during the planning phases of projects, collaborating with various teams to ensure successful execution.
- Tender Documentation: Assist in the preparation and review of technical documents for tenders, including specifications and system performance metrics.
- Case Studies & Technical References: Develop case studies and technical reference materials using real-time data from ongoing projects to showcase product performance and benefits.
- Customer Presentations: Present technical details of energy storage products to customers in a clear and engaging manner, tailoring explanations to suit their level of understanding.
- Product Training: Design and deliver product training programs for clients and partners, ensuring comprehensive understanding of BESS solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical consultation to customers on BESS products and solutions, offering expert advice tailored to their specific needs.
- Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and offer technical support during the sales process.
- Product Demonstrations: Develop and deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations, highlighting key technical features that provide value to customers.
- Sales Proposals: Lead the development of formal sales proposals, including accurate BESS sizing based on project-specific requirements.
- RFI/RFP Responses: Respond to technical elements of RFIs (Request for Information) and RFPs (Request for Proposals), conducting detailed reviews and maintaining clear communication with customers.
- Customer Feedback: Convey customer requirements and feedback to the Product Management teams to ensure continuous product improvement.
- Team Support: Assist with additional tasks as needed to support the team and ensure successful project and customer outcomes.
Skills Requirement:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in the field of energy storage.
- Fluent in English (Native speaker preferred) to liaise with clients locally.
- Experience in the energy sector, with a focus on energy storage, renewable energy, or related technologies is often preferred.
- Proven technology skills, particularly in BESS, PCS, SCADA/EMS, Electricity Market and related technologies.
- Willing to travel irregularly.
