Job Summary

As a Senior Payroll Executive at Jaipur Rugs, you will oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursement. You will be responsible for compliance with statutory regulations, employee data management, and supporting process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in payroll operations, and familiar with tax and labour laws in India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Payroll Management:
  • Manage monthly payroll processes, including data collection, validation, and processing for employees.
  • Calculate salaries, incentives, bonuses, arrears, and deductions as per company policies.
  • Ensure error-free payroll disbursement in coordination with finance.
  • Compliance & Reporting:
  • Handle statutory compliances like PF, ESIC, TDS, LWF, and gratuity.
  • File necessary returns and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Generate payroll reports, including variance analysis and reconciliations.
  • Employee Records:
  • Maintain employee database, salary structure, and updates in the payroll system.
  • Ensure proper documentation for new hires, exits, and salary revisions.
  • Audits & Queries:
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll records.
  • Resolve employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and tax filings promptly.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to automate payroll processes and ensure efficiency.
  • Keep updated on labour laws and payroll software advancements.


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in payroll operations, preferably in a mid-to-large-scale organization.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Zoho Payroll, or ADP) and MS Excel.
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills for handling employee interactions and audits.


Preferred

  • Experience in the textile or manufacturing sector.
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing and compliance.
