Overview The IT Control Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of the organization's IT systems and processes. This role is essential for maintaining a robust control environment in IT operations, safeguarding sensitive data, and managing risks effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement IT control policies, procedures, and standards.Conduct regular assessments of IT controls to identify weaknesses and risks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.Lead the planning and execution of IT control audits and assessments.Monitor and report on control deficiencies and remediation efforts.Provide guidance and support in implementing security best practices and control initiatives.Participate in the design and implementation of IT control frameworks and governance models.Review and enhance security control measures to protect against cyber threats.Prepare and present comprehensive reports on control performance and audit findings.Manage and supervise a team of IT control professionals.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC is preferred.Minimum of 5 years' experience in IT control, risk management, or compliance.Proven expertise in implementing and managing IT controls and security measures.Strong understanding of audit methodologies and regulatory requirements.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Experience in leading and developing high-performing control teams.Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ISO 27001, or NIST.Proficiency in using IT control assessment tools and technologies.
