Job TitleBusiness Process SpecialistJob DescriptionWork closely with finance leadership to create process improvements in accounting, purchasing, sales, inventory management, and financial reporting.Evaluate and implement best practices for financial operations while leveraging ERP capabilities.Provide ongoing support for evolving business needs, including advanced reporting and integration with business intelligence tools.Collaborate with procurement teams to enhance supplier onboarding, contract management, and purchasing workflows.Configure and optimize enterprise resource planning modules to ensure cost-effective and compliant processes.Support supply chain visibility by aligning procurement with warehouse and logistics operations.Partner with customer service leaders to refine sales order processing, customer interactions, and case management workflows.Ensure the system supports high service levels, efficient resolution, and integration with fulfillment and financial transactions.Develop processes that improve customer experience, retention, and responsiveness.Work with warehouse leaders to ensure accurate and efficient use of enterprise resource planning software.Enhance workflows for inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and logistics execution.Support workforce adoption of standard operating procedures, handheld devices, and real-time reporting.Document business requirements and map them to ERP functionality—acting as a bridge between business teams and technical resources.Manage functional configurations, testing, and user acceptance testing for enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.Lead process workshops, training sessions, and end-user enablement.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support business scalability and operational excellence.Maintain a backlog of enhancement requests and help set priorities in alignment with business strategy.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain.5+ years of ERP experience.Demonstrated expertise in at least two functional areas: finance, procurement, customer service, or warehouse/logistics.Strong ability to document requirements, map processes, and configure ERP modules.Experience with testing, training, and end-user enablement.Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work across departments.Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities; able to balance detail with strategic impact.Preferred SkillsExperience with system integrations, BI tools (Power BI, SQL), or e-commerce platforms.Familiarity with multi-entity environments.Knowledge of change management and training best practices.Prior consulting or ERP project experience.
