Role Description Position: Indian Chef (Commi 1) Location: Surat - Gujarat (On-site, Full-Time) We are seeking a passionate and skilled Indian Chef (Commi 1) to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of a wide range of Indian dishes while maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. This role involves working closely with senior chefs, ensuring efficient kitchen operations, and upholding hygiene and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and cook Indian dishes as per standard recipes and quality expectations Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and menu execution Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in all kitchen areas Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards Prepare ingredients, sauces, and garnishes as required Support in bulk food preparation for parties and events Contribute to menu development and new dish innovations Qualifications Proven experience or strong skills in Indian cuisine preparation Knowledge of food hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures Excellent teamwork and communication skills Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and consistency in food presentation Formal culinary education or certification is an advantage Experience in bulk food preparation for parties and events Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and dishes
