System Administrator Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unix & Cloud Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Unix system administration, cloud-based data services, and ETL pipeline management.This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability of data ingestion, transformation, and delivery from multiple global sources. It also involves supporting production environments and collaborating with international teams to maintain a critical financial data platform.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support Unix/Linux-based environments hosting data processing and integration services.Operate and maintain ETL pipelines integrating data from multiple systems into centralized databases, data warehouses, or data lakes.Perform log analysis, debugging, and root cause investigations in real-time production systems.Support services hosted in AWS, including resource, process, and file management.Utilize SQL for data querying and analysis.Collaborate with global development and support teams across AMERS and Europe during peak business hours.Contribute to final testing and stabilization phases of a multi-year development effort.RequirementsStrong foundation in Unix system administration.Experience with cloud-based data services, especially AWS.Hands-on experience with ETL pipelines and production support.Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global team.Knowledge of SQL and its applications.BenefitsThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
