System Administrator Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced system administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering Windows Administration and AIX systems to ensure secure and reliable operations.Key Responsibilities:Administer Windows Administration and AIX systems ensuring secure and reliable operations.Configure file and folder level permissions using ICALCS and SETACL.Develop PowerShell scripting solutions for permissioning and file/folder scans.Migrate DFS projects, transferring large-scale data from NAS to SharePoint Online/Azure Cloud.Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution within defined SLAs for Windows/DFS-related issues.Collaborate to ensure Active Directory policies and account-level attributes compliance.Provide system maintenance, break-fix support, and performance tuning of Windows Server and storage infrastructure.Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:3–6 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server Administration and AIX.Strong expertise in DFS architecture, setup, troubleshooting, and configuration.Proven experience with permissioning tools (ICALCS, SETACL) and PowerShell scripting.Ability to analyze logs, perform RCA, and handle proactive/reactive support tickets.Sound understanding of file/folder permissioning models, Active Directory, and storage/cloud concepts.Effective communicator with strong documentation and coordination skills.Benefits of Working at Our OrganizationYou will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies including SharePoint Online, Azure Cloud, and DFS.
