Senior Cloud Databricks AdministratorWe are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Databricks Administrator to spearhead the implementation and maintenance of our Databricks platform on AWS, Azure, and GCP. Key attributes include a passion for agile environments and hands-on experience supporting Databricks platforms on these clouds.Job Description:Implement, maintain, and configure the Databricks workspace, including setup, user/group management, access control, and security configurations.Provide technical assistance to data engineering, science, and application teams. Restore/recover services, resolve issues, and troubleshoot problems affecting the platform.Configure, install, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces. Monitor cluster performance, resource utilization, and costs.Enforce access controls, security policies to safeguard sensitive data, and ensure adherence to relevant governance and regulatory requirements.Oversee connections between Databricks and other data sources like Snowflake. Optimize pipelines and workflows.Develop tools for platform provisioning and routine tasks using Terraform.Required Skills and Qualifications:Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services, Databricks administration.AWS IAM, VPC, private endpoints, firewalls, S3, and knowledge of Databricks integrations.MLflow, Workflows, Databricks Asset Bundles.Databricks REST API for automation/scripting/integration.dbx CLI for CI/CD integration.Delta Live Tables (DLT) for managing streaming/batch pipelines.SQL + PySpark skills for debugging/support.About this Role:This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cloud-based data platforms and a proven track record of successfully implementing and maintaining complex systems.
